Storage Compartment Information

A highlight of the Nord West Drifter is the tremendous dry storage capacity which has never been seen before in another drift boat. The 26 cubic feet of dry storage is seamlessly arranged into 4 distimct sections:

• TheBow or Front Storage comes with a 13" by 30" hatch that allows the storage of large items such as sleeping bags & clothes. This is ideal for those long outings - a three day trip to Montana's Smith River for example. An optional tray limiting the depth of the storage can be installed for easy access to smaller items.
  
  

• The Front Pedestal Storage can either be used for dry storage or as a live well.
  
  

• TheSide Storage Compartments on either side of the rope seat allow easy access for the rower. The 11"x13" hatches can be fitted with a liner to limit the depth and keep small items such as binoculars or a camera at close range. These compartments can also be fitted with a 6" round hatch providing access to a rear passenger or to fit a shot gun with a 30" barrel from the rear.
  
  In addition to the significant dry storage space, the Rear Open Storage can be used as a temporary trash holder, or to store other items.
