I've floated rivers
in a number of different boats. Some good, some great.
The Nord West Drifter is easily in the top of the GREAT
category. The boat is extremely well built, durable,
maneuverable, quiet and loaded with features not often
repeated as well - if at all - in other makes. The interior
storage is excellent. The waterproof compartments are
very functional and well thought out. I was especially
impressed with the rolled-in gunwales and the protected
rod storage underneath. I've seen rods stepped on and
broken because there was no secure storage place. This
is not an issue in this boat.

If somebody asked
me why I chose a Nord West Drifter, I'm not sure where
I would start. I love everything in my boat. It's amazingly
well thought out, every detail makes sense. The quality
of the workmanship is top of the line, and I really
enjoy the removable front bench seat which was invaluable
on a recent trip with my wife and daughters on the Yellowstone
River. I call her my "Cadillac" of the river.

My friend Dick, my son Mike and I looked
at a lot of drift boats before we bough a Nord West Drifter
- and we do not regret our choice. We opted for the
fully loaded model. It's the same great pleasure every
time to float the Yellowstone river, the Big Horn river or
the Madison river in not only a drift boat but a comfortable
luxury boat, easy to row.
